Natural Hair Care

kinky curly curling custard

There is a lot of mixed opinions about the product kinky curly curling custard and I think I know why. Some of the women who use it don’t like the way it shrank their curl. If you use it and you don’t like the way it works your next question will probably be how do I take it out.

The answer is just wash it out but you may have to use a clarifying poo to make sure you get it all out. The price of the custard is about $30 which is much more expensive than Eco Styling Gel so you may want to get an informational review on that too.

  • Hi! I absolutely love Kinky Curly Curling Custard! IMO very few products compare. I disagree with the statement above, I believe most people dislike the product due to improper application and/or drying time. I must confess, it does take quite a while for this stuff to dry…LOL! Your hair needs to be soaking wet and very little product goes a long way. The $30 jar that you reference is 16oz and typically last me about 3 months with daily use! This is an organic product with very little build-up, so a clarifying shampoo is NOT needed. A clarifying shampoo will cleanse your hair and scalp of the product and its natural oils. If you choose to wash out the KCCC, simply rinse your hair with water and use a gentle poo or conditioner.

  • I just wanted to tell you that your video was very cool and informative of the Kinky Curly Custard. I have gone natural for a little over 2 years now. It is so think and full, but I have not yet found a product that has made me just want to wear my hair WITHOUT a little weave. I hope to find this product and see if this works better for me. Thanks again for sharing your experience.
