natural hair blogs for black women

www.ThirstyRoots.com

There are several natural hair blogs for black women online so to save you some time in searching I will zero in on the top sites that are visited everyday outside of my site.

ThirstyRoots.com is not just about natural hairstyles and information. Even though I have been natural since Y2K (2000), I cover black hair as a whole. I encourage you to read my ABOUT PAGE to get a full understanding of what my Company and Brand represents.

The list of websites below are operated from natural women who really know their stuff and I consider them to be the experts in their niche. I love what they are doing and I do not see them as competitors.

These are just some sisters of mine who love their “thirsty roots” and they just happen to be natural. The website bloggers are lovely women who are educated and love to share their experiences and knowledge with others.

I am doing the same, while educating myself and building a community of people to network and share information. Thirsty Roots celebrates the hair of black men, women, and kids in whatever style it’s in.

With all the negativity in the African American Community the last thing we need is debating about the texture of our hair and what hairstyles an individual chooses to wear.

I hope with the growth of natural hair education and expression comes a new love amongst all people to embrace others’ individuality and especially in the black and multiracial communities.

As black people in America we have lost the love for our natural hair texture over the years, and now we are on the journey of “Discovering our thirsty roots”.

I love my people and “I Love My Thirsty Roots”.

i really apprecitate your blog because you do not tell women off for their thoughts. you value us and help us. my hair is so gentle and i was doing all the looking after bit. my hair was growing past my shoulders, then i worried bout money, having children and then i met a lovely younger man. we both like each other, but guess what. the hair just cut off. the length went. i felt tortured. so all that healthy length before went,. so where i felt younger, more fertile, i now need a renewed health regime. in the meantime i am looking for a hairstyle that suits me which is super short because i do do feel good at sytling at all. i am worried about budget and money. i am so looking for help. i am told age is a big deal, i am listening to christian northrup womens body womens mind. anyway, thanks for the listening vibe
