Relaxed Hair Care

We would like to give a few relaxed hair blogs some shine for all of you who are chemically straighten and would like extra hair care and styling tips. Online there are many natural hair bloggers and YouTube vloggers, but relaxed hair sources are not as abundant.

ThirstyRoots.com is about all types of black hair care and hairstyle information. Even though I have been natural since the year 2000, I cover black hair as a whole. I encourage you to read my ABOUT PAGE to get a full understanding of what my Company and Brand represents.

The blogs listed below are all from women who decided to document their hair journeys in order to help themselves grow long and healthy hair and to help others. This is what Thirsty Roots is all about, sharing and learning from each other while loving our “thirsty roots”. When you love something, you take care of it.

The following are blogs that are created by women who took the time to share their experiences with products, styling techniques, and tools in order to grow healthy relaxed hair. This list is in no particular order:

  • Whoop Whoop!

Glad to be on this journey. Was natural for 20years and recently decided to relax. So far I am loving it! Loving all the information I have learned from being Natural. I feel that I have truly fallen in love with my own hair in its natural state before making this decision. It is a decision that I am loving and I am glad to see that others are out there being successful as relaxers and that we are embracing all hair choices!

  • I’m so glad I came across your site! Love it! You have introduced me to a few new bloggers that I haven’t seen! I also wanted to share some info about my site. Youtube.com/TalishasSecret and TalishasSecret.com.
I am a black woman who never had long hair growing up. After lots of research I was able to grow my hair from shoulder length to waist length in two years. My hair now touches my butt (tailbone length). My goal is to break the stereotype that women of color cant have long healthy and fabulous hair too! Because we can!

    Love and Blessings!
