When you first heard the hit single “Get It Shawty” you saw this good looking young man that had a signature look which was a long ponytail. At the time there was no singer that was rocking a hairstyle like that. He got a lot of praise but did get some haters too. It didn’t matter because Lloyd rose quickly up the charts and he became a star. Years later he cut his hair and began to wear a faded haircut versus the braids and ponytail. This signified that he was a grown man. Rapper Bow Wow and singer Omarion did the same thing.
