I know ladies relaxed hair and exercise does not work at all. I had a young lady who is an athlete email me about the problem she is having and sadly I have no real solution for her.
She runs track and has practice everyday which sweats out her perm from the constant sweating. The obvious attempt at stopping this wet hair dilemma is wearing a sweatband but that does not help at all.
The sweating occurs from the scalp which drenches the hair and dries leaving it poofy and damaged. If you are going to really exercise yourself to a sweating point which is normal you are going to have to wear braids or go natural.
I know this is NOT what you want to hear but it’s an honest attempt to solve your problem of exercising and wetting your hair from sweat.
