braiding license in georgia

A braiding license in georgia is not that hard to get which is strange because most of the women I know and probably you too DO NOT have the proper paperwork that makes them legal to braid.

Now that’s not a shot because this has nothing to do with skills. The women I know have been braiding hair since they were around 7 years old.

The reason I’m bringing this up now is because it’s getting more popular amongst high powered individuals and that means they are looking closely to how they can tax the money being spent on hair styling in Georgia which is millions of dollars.

If you are reading this and you are NOT properly licensed then please VISIT THIS LINK so that you can get your things in order and by pass being shut down wherever you are getting your money right now.

  • To Chavil,I would suggest visiting the Georgia Board of Cosmetology website or trying to call. I’m unsure as to whether or not a license is required or not because apparently, at some point in recent time, it was legally imposed but then got protested. The end result is hard to research online so I would check with the Board just to be safe if you are working in a shop as they are the only ones who could fine you or shut the shop down…
