Bernard Bronner with Singer Ginuwine

The Bronner Brothers Hair Show Mid-Summer 2013 was packed with hairstyles, stylist and celebrities as usual but none bigger than TGT (Tank, Ginuwine & Tyrese). Big time comedian Brian Hooks was also there with Bernard Bronner to re-announce the movie “Laughing to the Bank” which releases on August 23rd 2013.

Other celebs in attendance were…

  • Toya Wright,
  • Porsha
  • Karlie Redd
  • Rasheeda
  • Tiny & Shekinah
  • Kim Kimble
  • Morris Chesnut
  • Derek J
  • Sanaa Lathan

and many more. This marked the 66th year that the Bronner Bros International Hair Show has been held. The Georgia World Congress Center was packed with thousands of men and women in Atlanta to learn more about African American hair.

With over 300 hair care companies also in attendance it was very easy to get what you needed as a salon owner, stylist or customer. 100 classes and seminars along with high powered hair battles kept individuals entertained from Saturday through Tuesday.

For the first time ever the show introduced “The Tournament of Champions Competition” which was held without flaw and featured stylist such as Jason Griggers of the movie “Good Hair”.

Thirsty Roots took plenty of pictures and also put together a video recap to give you an idea of the magnitude of this hair show. We salute the Bronner Brothers and wish them continued success in all their business endeavors.
