  • I am not going to pull punches I was supposed to go natural years ago but didn’t like my texture so I didn’t. Now I am forced to go natural again. I just cut-it-all-off. All off so that I can feel it growing naturally and get a handle on my hair. I get tired of worrying about how to do it because I don’t know how to do it without a relaxer. my hair is very unattractive to me in it’s natural state but sometimes I would like to try those styles that I see on women that are naturals. I think I can pull it off I just need the right help and supplies.

  • In response to Shawnte Burton….. I’m in process now of going natural and I see where you are coming from I am going natural in September. I say try going to a natural hair stylist who can do your hair like the locs, as far as the up-do look. I am in that process as well and my natural hair stylist how she do my hair to get it ready for locs and for me to kind of get a feel for it. She styles my hair as if it was in locs, and my hair feels so good and i love how it looks.. But its just a suggestion to kind of help with the transformation.
