Natural Hair Care

natural black hair care info

Homegirl Quel

Natural black hair care info is becoming more accessible through the many channels of social media networks like Youtube, Facebook and Twitter. I am happy that thousands of women have information readily available to them for their natural hair journeys. When I first did my Big Chop over 11 years ago it did not have that fancy name. I simply cut off all my hair to get rid of the damaged the relaxer caused with zero support from family. I now watch women like Homegirl Quel move forward successfully without natural hair stopping her one bit . I am so glad things have changed in that arena and I celebrate the healthy thirsty roots of all these women. Congrats Raquel!

  • I love it 🙂 I did the “Big Chop” 3 years ago and I was amazed how healthy my hair began to grow; I must admit that I was worried at first about the look but later on it grew on me but I wish that I had taken pictures……….

  • Hi, I’m currently deployed to Afghanistan; the last time I put a perm in my hair was december 26, 2010. I want to go natural without cutting my hair off. Can you please give me some tips on how to care for my hair while over here? Thanks a bunch.
