With all the afro hair and beauty magazine titles out there you would think there is zero room for another. However, Essence sees this statement a little different. They launched a hair edition of the popular magazine that featured singer Monica on the front cover. Of course you can’t do a hair magazine without having the likes of Amber Rose or Nicki Minaj inside so these pictures appear as well. The big question here is how many issues will Essence print. It seems as if they rushed these out to test the market hence the chopped off lowercase letter “R”.
