It’s always nice to see some beautiful women with dreadlocks especially when they are styled up right and individually set apart by color and length. These black women were happy to pose in front of thirsty roots camera lenses so that we could capture their stunning beauty. If you are thinking about beginning dreads this gallery of pictures should serve as some serious inspiration. For those of you who have your hair locked up already send us some pics and we would be happy to display them.
I LOVE TO SEE WOMEN WITH NATURAL HAIR AND LOCKS…”MY HAIR IS MY CROWN”…
SIMPLY BEAUTIFUL! I CANNOT WAIT TIL MY DREADS GET LONG ENOUGH TO STYLE 🙂
So glad I am dreaded up.
would like to see some styles for locs that are growing very long in the back with balding at forehead for women. How can I cover the bald spots or have an attractive hair style for balding?
I enjoy checking out the pics. i love natural/locks hair, god gave it to us let us embrace and love it. i have locks it’s the best thing i could have done to my hair.
Oh wow! I was looking for a new hairstyle for my locs and to my amazement a picture of me is the first picture.

Love love love locs! I started my journey 2 months ago. It’s a challenge for sure! I’m a hairstylist and I’m used to changing my hair every month. Even my clients are in disbelief that I’m locking my hair lol. I really have to embrace the length as of now because I feel limited in what I am able to do. It is well worth the wait. I’m ready for different reasons. I started my son’s six years ago. I’m ready to join him in this journey. Thanks for inspiring us! Much love,
Started my journey about a year and a half ago.my hair is naturally curly so it was a big challenge, but it is finally starting to get the length and look that I want !love the freedom!
I went natural when I turned 50 cut the perm out wore twist for awhile then I decided to loc my hair and never looked back. I love it. I’m 57 now with blonde loc down my back.
