There are some really good natural hair conditioner recipes on the Internet and we have found one to be really popular amongst our thirsty roots community members. So the name and recipe is listed below for you to try if you are interested DIY natural hair conditioning.
Whipped Avocado Hair Conditioner
- 1/2 can coconut milk
- 1 ounce of coconut oil
- 2 teaspoons of olive oil
- 2 teaspoons of honey
- 2 ounces of pure aloe vera
- 1 teaspoon of castor oil
Blend the ingredients together and be sure to use after a good shampoo treatment. Rinse the avocado hair conditioner out with lukewarm water and do a final rinse with cold water. You can refrigerate the unused portion of the mix but it must be used within 7 days.
