Natural Hair Tips

natural hair types 4b

There are several black women who fall into the natural hair types 4b category. But what does that mean? If you are a new natural and you don’t know the lingo or terms you have no idea what all this type 4a or b stuff means.

Well, 4b: Has a “Z” pattern, less of a defined curl pattern. Instead of curling or coiling, the hair bends in sharp angles like the letter “Z”; has a cotton-like feel.

Here are some hairstyles of African American women who have the type of hair you seek including the celebrity singer Jill Scott. Erykah Badu did fall into this category until she relaxed her hair and dyed it blonde. I still love her thirsty roots though.
